From TrekWorks A video buildup of the AMT 22" USS Enterprise Cutaway Model. In this video you'll see the build up of the model along with adding a simple LED lighting technique to back light the saucer section of this model. LED's were placed behind the kit supplied decal mounted on a clear plexi template to give the illusion of depth when lit. Very simple to do and it ads some kick to the model on display. The display stand which was molded to the model in its factory form, was removed and the model was mounted on a custom display base with lights and power switches. We will be doing a demo video soon on the bases which include how to build it and where to find the supplies needed to complete one. Check out the TrekWorks main channel for more Star Trek model builds, reviews and more.
